I am beyond thrilled to announce that Wild One has been included on this year’s Toronto Public Library First and Best Award list!
The list represents Toronto Public Library librarian’s “top picks of the best Canadian children’s books for building reading readiness in kids under five. Because the first books you share with your child should also be the best!”
As a Canadian librarian it means the world to me to be recognized by my fellow early literacy champions, and it’s such a wonderful feeling to be included on a list with such awesome books as Charlotte and the Rock, and A Horse Named Steve, and such wonderful authors as Dev Petty and Canadian icon Barbara Reid!
If you’ve enjoyed Wild One, please consider leaving a review on Goodreads or on Amazon – your reviews really help authors out so very much. And if your local library doesn’t carry Wild One, a kind request for purchase would be very much appreciated.
A massive thank you to the Toronto Public Library for this inspiring honour, and of course an ongoing thank you to Pajama Press for making Wild One a reality! And an even bigger thank you to everyone who has read and shared Wild One – you’re the best friends an author could ever hope for!
Congrats! How exciting.
Congrats!
