Sniffle sniffle
Ah -ah-tchoo,
Got a cold
Or maybe two.
Cough and sneeze.
And hack and wheeze
Time for spring to spring in, please!
Boy oh boy, this winter needs to hurry on up and hurry on out! Here’s hoping for sunny skies, warm weather and good health for everyone!
Time for spring to spring in, please! — I echo that sentiment! They are calling for snow this weekend though (sigh!) I hope you have a warm weekend where you live.
Oh, Jane, hope everyone on your end is feeling spunky SOON. (“Got a cold/maybe two” is brilliant, by the way.) My daughter, Morgan, teaches third grade in Georgia. They’d all been through a round of flu earlier in the year (and Morgan was out of commission for a few days, very unusual for her!), and then just this week, she’s had four cases of confirmed flu in her room. She has stayed well this time, but you are right – everyone is ready for spring!
“Or maybe two” is cute 🙂 Hope you have a good (healthy!) weekend, Jane.
Oh! I hope you are well. This has been a rough winter for so many. I am ready for spring to “spring in” too! Stay cozy, friend. xx
Hope your sneezes go away so you can love a spring-y day!
Yes, it is!!!
This poem made me smile… and miss cartoons! Thanks for sharing!
Feel better soon!
Oh my, hoping for better days ahead, Jane! But goodonya for channeling your misery into a ditty. 🙂
I hope your wheezes give way to warm breezes and pollen sneezes soon. 🙂
Oh, me too, me too! Though expect to read some whining poems about my hayfever soon….. 😀
🙂 If it’s not one thing, it’s your mother. 😉
Fun poem! (But get better soon.)
Thank you! Lots of tea will hopefully do the trick.
Hope you feel better! It’s been a hellish winter. At any given time, 2 or 3 library co-workers were out sick. This weekend we spring ahead with Daylight Savings time, so, at least we know we’ll be getting more vitamin D!
I love time for spring to spring in! Feel better!
Thank you! It’s been a long, dreary winter, so I think we’re all longing for some spring cheer! 🙂
Oh my goodness….you can make a cold so funny! I apologise for my tardiness responding to PF. I have been hit with a season of busy in my work life. It’s not bad….except my time for catching up with PF is dismal. I do so love a visit with you….especially the kind where I can’t catch anything! Feel better soon. I know your neck of the woods is just ready to bust out with some spring for you.
Sometimes you just have to turn life’s lemons into lemon honey ginger tea! We actually had 17 degree weather yesterday, which is super warm, and definitely cheered me to no end!
Sending hopes for recovery and health!
Much obliged, I’ll take all the positive vibes I can get! 🙂
oh boy! I can relate to your poem! I feel like my household has been sick since February–stomach bugs straight into colds which developed into bronchitis in the kiddos. Hope everyone is feeling better at your house too!
What a rubbish winter it’s been this year! Hurry up spring!!
Hope you are feeling better Jane–I agree we need spring to hurry on up, fun poem, thanks!
Thank you! At least I’m not in New England, brrrrr!!!! Two feet of snow!
