Well, this week’s Top Ten Tuesday theme is heaps of fun – Book Titles with Numbers In Them! A thank you again to That Artsy Reader for hosting the Top Ten Tuesday roundup.
This is a fantastic theme for picture book lovers, as there are countless wonderful books with numbers in their titles. Now, I did cheat here a little bit and include only nine books in this week’s list, as they fit so nicely into my collage template! I do hope you’ll forgive me.
Now let’s get counting!
1 Big Salad – A Delicious Counting Book : A tasty counting book that might just have kids reconsidering their distaste for greens.
Ten Little FINGERS and Ten Little TOES: Nothing is sweeter than tiny fingers and chubby little toes.
One Gorilla – A Counting Book: A stunning primate primer.
Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3: 1 told 2 and 2 told 3, “I’ll race you to the top of the apple tree.”
Duck & Goose 1, 2, 3: One goose, two ducks, three friends and more!
One Duck Stuck – A Mucky Ducky Counting Book: A duck is stuck in the muck! Who can help him? Let’s count along and find out!
10 Little Rubber Ducks: A giant wave washes a box of rubber ducks off a boat, sending them off on adventures in this classic counting book.
A Feast for 10: Follow along with a family as they shop, cook and enjoy a feast in this delicious counting book.
Ten Orange Pumpkins: A not-too-spooky Halloween-themed counting book that’s perfect for the littlest ghouls and goblins.
What are some of your favourite books with numbers in their titles?
