It’s officially everyone’s favourite season of the year!
A bit of real talk, though – my visions of autumn rarely line up with the reality of autumn in the Pacific Northwest.

Alas, fall in Vancouver is typically soggy and grey. But the soul can still dream of those blazing autumn days, the ones you see in TV movies and romantic comedies.
I penned a few words about fall – the fall of my dreams, where I also live in a house with a fireplace, because if I’m going to dream, I might as well dream big.
Leaves change,
Winds blow,
Clouds drift,
Apples crunch,
Chimneys puff,
Fires glow,
It’s autumn!
