Thank you, Worthington Libraries, for adding BUNNY LOVES BEANS to your collection, and for featuring it on your website! I am so, so thankful for all the support I’ve received from my fellow librarians across North America – you guys are amazing, and you obviously have impeccable taste in children’s books.
It still boggles my mind that folks in places I’ve never even been are reading books that I’ve written. I’m not some famous author or best-selling writer, I’m just a children’s librarian and mum from a small city in Canada that most people outside the area have never heard of (though it is Michael Buble’s hometown, if you’re into crooners who advertise for sparkling water brands). Worthington Libraries are in Ohio – I’ve never been to Ohio, I don’t know anyone from Ohio or who lives in Ohio, and I probably couldn’t point out Ohio on a map, though in my defence there are just so many states all packed together in a country smaller than Canada. But somehow, something I’ve written has managed to make its way onto shelves in that fine state. I couldn’t be more proud and thankful.
A quick search of their catalogue reveals that they have copies of all my books in their collection, so thank you everyone in Worthington, Ohio, for your support!
If you’d like your local library to carry my books, you can usually find a “suggest a purchase” feature on their website – it’s always helpful for librarians to hear directly from their communities. And of course, authors like me wouldn’t be anywhere without your support – thank you from the bottom of my heart!
